Requirements regarding how to become a CNA may vary state to state. The earliest age one can pursue this profession in most states is 16 years old. You will need to take a training course and it must be accredited in order to be eligible to sit for the examination. Training courses may be offered by organizations such as the red cross while many hospitals have training programs available to those interested. Most hospitals have an earn as you learn program in which they provide free CNA training in exchange for you committing to work for their organization for a certain duration.
